Weight-Inclusive Care for Manual Therapists
Every Body Deserves to Feel Safe on Your Table
A practical, compassionate course for manual therapy providers who want to confidently care for clients in larger bodies, clients with disabilities, and everyone who has ever felt like healthcare wasn't built for them.
Self-paced • About 3 hours of video • Certificate of completion
The problem nobody trained us for
Your training was built around a textbook body. Your clients didn't get the memo.
So many people avoid the care that could help them most because they are afraid they won't fit on the table, that they'll be judged for their body, or that their provider won't understand their disability, their history, or their needs. Most of us were never taught how to care for these clients well, because our training was built around a textbook body that very few of our clients actually have.
This course fills that gap.
With practical skills you can use in your very next appointment. You'll learn how to recognize and interrupt the conscious and unconscious bias we all carry, how to bring trauma-informed consent into every hands-on interaction, and how to make your space, equipment, and paperwork accessible before a client ever walks through the door.
Each module includes notes on how the content applies to your specific profession, so whether you adjust, mobilize, needle, cup, or massage, you'll leave with tools that fit your practice.
